They’re back! Chesterville Public School’s Grade 4/5 class arrived at the community garden today to continue work on their Real World Learning Projects. Today was a garden cleanup and prep day to get ready for planting. The students spread 43 bags of fertilizer, raked, swept, picked stones and put a base coat of paint on the fence. Buddy benches were brought out from the garden shed and they even had time to plant a pear tree. They will return in a few weeks to put a design on the fence and help plant the garden. What better way to spend a sunny Monday morning!
