I joined the service at the Lakeshore Drive United Church in Morrisburg today, as it was their last summer service (they close for the month of August). It was great to see Carol Workman, LLWL again as she has also been a leader at CCU on occasion. 

It was a nice service with the ceiling fans going, warm and inviting with very welcoming people. The building is another heritage church that while it isn’t accessible, its turn-of-the-century architecture is inspiring. I was glad to have the chance to join them.

I did note that Google stated very clearly that they were “closed”; this wouldn’t be helping their numbers. Perhaps I’ll work with their office in the Fall and update the internet information so that people are able to know when they are open for services.
