We celebrate God’s presence through our full range ministry-based spiritual support with worship and sacraments, bible study, meditation and healing practices, bereavement and family counseling, emergency intervention and outreach. We operate a local Food bank, called The Faith Pantry. Our pastoral care team visits senior’s residences, elder-care homes and hospitals. Our facility is available to the community. We continue to support local food banks, local support initiatives, local and world outreach through the United Church of Canada. For several summers now we had operated a community garden. Our faith garden is open to anyone, especially the seniors living in the residence behind us. Our Faith Pantry continues to serve more individuals and children within our community and the outlying area. We co-ordinate with the local Food Banks in the area and provide references to Social Services in the region. We assist our clients in finding the help they need to experience life in as complete wholeness as possible.
We have started downloading our services onto social media each week. We are working toward live streaming them, so our community members who are not able to attend the Sunday services can still participate in them in a meaningful way. We are working with the Chesterville Public School in coordinating a food drive for our Faith Pantry and local Food Banks. We have invited the local Girl Guides to be participated in planting the Faith Garden we operated during the summer. We are providing opportunities for children and young people to volunteer in our community, helping them feel they can make a difference in the lives of others, while having fun together.
We looking forward to your joining us on our journey of faith and love.
